Can’t wait to hit the gym again!

I took my girlfriend to the gym today and because I like to work out the old fashioned way I started to train her. But you know, her being a girl, she isn’t interested in that kind of work out. Well I kinda understand that since there aren’t many girls who like to carry weights around. There are few, but some of them get mistaken for men.

Anyway, I saw she was getting annoyed with me because I kept telling her to get heavier weights, to do more reps on the bench, to do dead lifts and all that stuff that we guys love doing.

It got to the point that she told me she’s going home and she’ll never go to the gym with me again. Again, I have to say, I am not surprised. She got pretty pissed.

Than I remembered that women like to work out with TRX. I’ve tried it myself before just to look cool, but never really gave it a chance. I always thought it was too pussy like and reading articles about it I thought to myself what do they know? So I watched this video and gave it a go.

Well I gotta tell you, I was wrong. It was one of the best workouts I’ve had in a long time. I loved it so much I didn’t want to let my girlfriend try it. I have sore muscles I didn’t even know I had. It’s really good and I am going to add it to my workout.

And that got me thinking. I often find myself not motivated to go and work out. Trying different routines is probably a way to go. And, I have to admit I fell in love with one today.
